We are delighted that the outline planning application for Alderholt Meadows in Dorset has gone live today. Working closely with Scott Worsley architects and with our forward thinking client Dudsbury Homes our proposals will deliver 1,700 new homes supported by a new village centre and market square, employment space, transport hub and open spaces as part of a walkable neighbourhood.
The plan for Alderholt Meadows is landscape led with homes and facilities set within a rich landscape of grasslands, meadows, woodlands and wetlands covering over 70 hectares. These will provide a fantastic resource for both the existing and future residents of Alderholt and a haven for wildlife. The development will be powered by a new solar farm.
UIS were responsible for the initial concept masterplan for Alderholt Meadows, and prepared the landscape strategy and the landscape and visual impact assessment (LVIA) that support the application.
